i use E-600 glue for metals and its super duper strong. i've used it on fabric and it worked well too.
I'm gonna give it a try. Sounds like it's stronger than the old modge podge ...... Does it dry clear?
Any other suggestions before I head out to the local craft store?
You can buy it at craft stores and maybe even hardware stores since it is silicone glue. It is in a metal tube. It dries clear, but should set for 24 hours (I guess "fast" is relative). There is a website called this to that that provides glue advice. Silicone glue would probably be too much for paper.
Hey, you know Mod Podge is basically the same as thinned-out Elmer's glue (aka white glue)?
Here are the glues I keep in reach at all times -
Alene's Tacky Glue
Glue Stick (acid free)
Mod Podge (and glitter podge)
Thanks Textile Fetish!
this to that is a GREAT website for glue related questions. I'm definitely adding this one to my favorites folder:)
i discovered this awesome water-based glue that works just like e6000 - it's called Crafter's Pick The Ultimate. It works on metal and all kinds of surfaces. I like it because there is no odor and it's nice and thick and sturdy!
Thanks CraftychicaAZ .... No odor is a good thing .... I'll check it out:)
ohhh yeah i'll have to check that out too. the E600 is indeed stinky! do you know where i can find Crafter's Pick The Ultimate? thank you!
don't forget YES! paste. it can be thinned down with water, and it's useful for all sorts of surfaces.
