Ideas Needed for a Kick Butt Robot Party

My son's going to be 3 in a bit and wants a robot themed party. I'd appreciate any ideas: invitations, decorations, cake, art projects, etc.
I know all you crafty sistahs can help me come up with a rippin' robot party!

sugar cookies are easy and tasty! and if you can't find robot shaped cookie cutters, you can just draw 'em on square shaped cookies with gray icing...

Oh, you should have a robot dance party! You know, where everyone does those robot dance moves!

Though of course, 3 year olds probably aren't really old enough for that. You could play robot music in the background though.

    Two words: Tin foil.

Anything metallic would work as decoration I guess.

A cake should be fairly easy, you can just make a large rectangular one and decorate it like an old-skool robot... :-)

one of the glitter ladies had a robot party for her son last year. Maybe I can go back and look to see if her post is still in there some where.

pin the arms on the robot? make your own robot using toilet paper tubes and empty boxes? make a HUGE robot out of a fridge box as decoration.
have kids wear those antennea headbands with silver balls on the end. make marshmallow robots using the big marshmallows, pretzel sticks and candy. invitations - I'd just do something basic and draw(or use stickers) nuts and bolts around the edge or even just cut the paper like a nut (hex shape) or bolt & write party info on back.
if you are looking for some robot pics, try http://explodingdog.com he has some awesome stuff - you'll have to search a bit.
teehee- doing the robot....maybe the parents can do that!

There should be a robot dance contest! Teach all the kids to do the robot and see who has the most creative fun!
