    Best way to cut soda cans?

    Do I need to buy tin snips or is there a better way to cut thin aluminum?

    That is the best way I have found,and be sure to wear very good work gloves.

    There was a thread on Craftster about a craft with soda cans. She filled them with water and then froze them and then made her cuts. Depending what you're doing it could serve your purpose.

    i use heavy duty scissors that i got at the dollar store and i wore gloves. worked like a charm!
