Paper Flowers, in search of the Librarian

Does anyone remember who posted the BEAUTIFUL flowers on her blog a while back? She's a librarian and she's making these flowers from pages of text for her wedding. I really want to know how she made those, it's haunting me.

Anybody know how to make paper flowers out of books or remember who that was?

Thanks - I have an URGE to make some.

Selah- This may be cheating a bit, but I bought one of the Magnolia Kits from Paper-Source. I keep modifying the sizes and playing with all kinds of paper. It was worth the $14 investment!
My wedding is in 2006 and I plan on making paper flower for centerpieces too- but with 50's inspired paper. Anyone know where to get some reasonably priced?

PS. Selah thanks for the SUPER COOL cards from the exchange! Thanks SO much:-)I feel very inspired- I hope mine weren't too boring for you!

Good work Smachel, thanks! I pmed/stalked Violet so hopefully she'll let us know how she made those AMAZING flowers! I tried tonight to make a bouquet with various papers and in the words of my SO, "they do sort of blend in, there is nothing to differentiate them from one another." That's kind-talk for IT LOOKS LIKE ONE BIG BLOB OF PAPER HONEY.

Thanks rodeo618, I'm glad you liked them. I was super psyched to get yours in the mail and I've already sent one out!

Origami iris are also pretty. You might try mixing some flowers made from pages of books with others made out of more traditional origami paper.

Instructions for the iris can be found at:

Please let mekn ow if Violet gives instructions or a tutorial, I saw and loved these flowers and want to make them for my wedding too! I am thinking paper buttonholes for the men, crocheted corsages for the ladies!
