    Sewing machine dunce!

    Hello! :-)

I'm new to these forums and was hoping to take advantage of the wisdom of all you lovely crafty types.

I inherited a rather antiquated Singer (259) a while back and it has been sitting in my hall acting as an obstacle ever since. There was no instruction manual with it sadly. I would love to use it and start doing all sorts of fun sewing projects.

The main problem is that I have no idea how to thread the bobbin, nor how to make sure the thread on the outside is set up correctly. *scratches head*

If you can offer any assistance, I would be ever so grateful.

    Many thanks
    D

    That's tough ...

You can date your machine here and then that info can help you purchase a manual online or buy one on e-bay or something ... I defintely reccommend finding the manual from somewhere. Sure it'll cost you $15-20 to buy a copy but you will use it continuously ...

    Good luck!
