    book binding

    Hello!

I am looking for instructions online for various ways of bookbinding, sewing glueing spiral what have you, and I'm not having much luck. I am hoping someone here might have some URLs hanging about in their crafty chests of drawers just waiting to be shared!

    It would be most appreciated...

    Thank you!

I'm pretty certain the Carol Duvall show has had a few crafters who have done book binding in some way or another. You may wish to search google with her name and 'book binding' or just go to the hgtv website which is full of pictures and instructions and look there. Hope that helps. :-)

Check out this thread on Glitter.

If you're planning on a sewn-binding, the best way to get the sewing holes is with a small drill bit or dremel. Do this on the highest speed and do it quickly so the paper doesn't burn. Mark them out with a pencil first though and don't make the holes any closer together than 1/8". 1/4" apart is ideal.

Also check out this site for info about different types of bindings.[/url]
