i saw the baby blanket episode, it's great for showing you how to do different techniques, i learned yarn over and knit two together and also how to figure out how many stitches there should be after doing certain things, the baby blanket was the confidence booster i needed to start learning how to read a pattern w/o asking my mom :)

I don't get DIY, but I'll send any of these to anyone who'll tape all 5 episodes for me:

*1 doz. Christmas cards & envelopes (4 different designs)
    *5 pkgs. of 240 black photocorners http://www.vickerey.com/pmu999.html
*Lush Allelujah dusting powder/muscle rub (discontinued -- a dry, light-friction massage to relieve muscular & rheumatic pain; contains kaolin clay, cornstarch, chickpea flower, olive oil, magnesium carbonate & essential oils)
*3 Lush Jingle Spells ballistics (only sold in winter -- a deep purple, detoxifying juniperberry & fennel bath w/ sparkling stars, supposedly good for hangovers)
*any books marked "available" on my BookCrossing bookshelf: http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybooksh...statusfilter_2
*anything I've listed at Swappingtons: http://members.swappingtons.com/prof...ser=editorgrrl

I'd love to help you but I only get DIY on demand and not as a regular channel...blasted digital cable.

We used to have satellite at the old house, which was cool, lots of channels but no local channels (i.e. martha stewart) now I get local channels but martha seems to be gone and anyway i work at 9am and no DIY :(

There's another one too, same channel I think. It's called Knitty Gritty. I found it by accident when setting up Tivo to record Knit One, Purl Two.
