    Basic Body Crème
(1 part could equal an ounce)
    1 part shea butter
1 part oil (olive, grapeseed, apricot kernel etc.)
1/2 part emulsifying wax (vegetable based)
    4 parts hot H20 (distilled)

You always HAVE TO BECAREFUL when incorporating water into a product because bacteria will grow and that can be toxic for your skin.
Melt the oils & wax in a heat safe container in the microwave. Slowly (extremely slow), using a stick blender and mix in the distilled water. When all the water has been incorporated beat the crème until it is fluffy white, about 8-10 minutes. Jar and refrigerate for up to a week. Using sanitized bowls and utensils are a must for a bacteria free product.

    Solid massage bar
    1 part cocoa butter
    1 part shea butter
1/4 1 part oil (olive, grapeseed, apricot kernel etc.)

Heat all ingredients, mix well and pour into candy molds. ( let the mixture cool fora bit so the candy molds won't distort-you could put it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes)You could wrap these with candy wrappers if you like. These will last 6-9 months, To use rub the massage bar between your palms and massage into skin.

Hope that is helpful! I could go on forever with variations of different additives, oils & butters. Good luck and happy spa-ing!!
