    SCRABBLE Game Recycle ideas

Want to recycle some old games. I have the instructions for making a bulletin board but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas for either the scrabble or monopoly pieces.

    Thanks, Rose

scrabble pieces would make a great impromptu message board on y our refrigerator if you glued magnets to the backs

You could wrap wire around the scrabble pieces to make charms or pendants for earrings, bracelets or necklaces. Itd be even better if you know how to solder

The boards can also be used to make nifty shelves. Just be sure to reinforce them or to only place light-weight items on them!

Saw a clock with the tiles used to spell out the numbers.

I saw a cute set of stitch markers that used scrabble tiles to spell out knitting-themed words.

The same premise would be cute for charm bracelets or other jewelry - you could make beads out of letters to spell something fun.

You could float them in resin to make coasters or whatever else you thought would be fun to cast in resin.

    Thumbtacks and magnets.

Monopoly money seems like it is begging to be decoupaged onto something.

The boards would be fun for a game table. Attach them to a junk find and varnish the heck out of it?

I''ve also heard of monopoly property cards being laminated and used as game night coasters.
