Inkjet Transparency Film
Does anyone know how Inkjet Transparency Film work?
I want to print some images out and transfer them to other things.
I read a tutorial on how to do it here:
I''m a little confused on the directions. Step 4 - 5 is where I get lost.
After I''ve printed out my image and cut it, I am supposed to apply the gel medium to the item. Am I supposed to let this dry before I put my image on print-side down? Do the colors get transferred over as well? Is the gel medium what makes the image come off onto the other item or is the gloss just for a shiny appearance afterwards?
What I want to do is get images onto dominos and then coat them for protecting.

Actually, nevermind. I got home from work and re-read it a little slower. I think I understand. I'm putting the Liquitex on and then the transparency right afterwards. What gave it away is it said it could slide around, so I'm pretty sure it means do it when it's wet.
very interesting.... i've been messing around a little with transferring but with little luck thus far. i'll have to try this way next.
the only method i've had *some* luck with has been using liquid sculpey.
