    decorating with candy

i have an art project that involves me covering something with candy. jelly bellies. if i just seal them with mod podge will they not rot, and last a long time? or do i need to seal them in something else? or use a different type of candy?

i decorated a pair of heels with jujubees a long time ago. i glued them on with elmer's and sealed them with clear spray lacquer. they are softer than jelly bellies and they lasted on a shelf in my bedroom a good two or three years before they started to get gooey. i think mod podge would be fine. just try to keep them from getting too hot and they should be fine.

    whatcha making?
