Make a wedding gift using the invitation - Any ideas?
I would love to make a personal/crafty wedding gift for a friend that includes her invitation, I have been googling and googling and can''t find any project suggestions other than framing it with some pressed flowers. Any ideas out there?

How about attaching it to a pretty keepsake box in her wedding colours, decorate with ribbon or buttons perhaps. She can keep sample invites, her bouquet, sugar decorations, table names etc in it to delve into from time to time and remember her special day.
How about making her a scrapbook, mostly done and all she has to do is add the photos she wants? It can start with the wedding invite and you can do things from there, like honey moon, first "date" as married couple or other dates you'd want to remember.
Mini Albums are also pretty popular right now so you could do something cool like a wedding themed mini album and present a finished item.
Maybe this is a lame idea, but you could possibly make a drink coaster? I saw a site (I can''t remember where now) that explained how to design your own coasters. I believe you buy tile coasters at say Home Depot, and use Modge Podge to secure scrapbooking paper to the top of it.
You could use the invitation as well as matching scrapbook paper to make a set of coasters that could be used for special occasions. You could also give wine glass charms with it to round out the gift?
I guess it''s a little odd, but it was just a thought.
It sound very nice and cute that you want to
give gift that you have made by your own hands
I too like hand made gifts much as compare
to readymade gifts you can get lots of ideas
regarding this online
You can make the wedding gift at your home. I think Candles is very unique wedding gift. You can take some knowledge from any craft store. you can melt the beeswax add a wick and pour into the container. Yo can also add the coloring and scents to make it more nice wedding favor.
