    Anyone thinking about Halloween yet?

I have been. I'm thinking about what costume I want to make this year. Last year I made one based on the water outfit from Pretear, I did the wind outfit the year before. I usually make mine base on anime series, but I can't decide for this year. Good to start a little early, what do you think?

I'm already thinking about halloween too! I make my own costumes and usually dress as differnet characters from Alice in Wonderland and I was thinking of being the Queen of Hearts this year, but I may try something different and be Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. : D

That would be pretty. And it would be cool if you could get someone to dress up Quasimodo to match.

I dressed up as a forest sprite. I took a green dress I had made badly and cut it up. Then added accessories. It looked pretty good and I finally got a use out of the lousy dress.

Surprisingly, yes. My boyfriend is itching to find the perfect Prince costume. He's a musician and is totally in love with Prince. He's trying to rectify his mistake last year for going as Snookie. He thought it would be funny, but instead it turned out he was really uncomfortable and he lost his glasses. Last year I found the perfect handmade Renaissance Pirate costume. It was fabulous and I had fun being all dressed up in something so pretty. The corset was killing me by the end of the night though. And we did two nights of Halloween out to cover the entire weekend. I was thinking of hiding my face this year and either buying or crafting one of those awesome bird like beak masks the doctors wore during the Plague. No way am I going as the sexy sidekick to Prince in the movie Purple Rain.

I'm always thinking about Halloween! I figure it's never too early. However, my issue is that I'm never sure which of my armor pieces and gadgets that I make to choose from

I love Halloween, and as a theater costumer I have lots of costume pieces laying around, still I normally make my costume anyway. Last year I made a Marie Antoinette costume, this year I have fabric for an Anne Boleyn costume but I'm also making a Professor McGonagall costume for a party later this month. I try to do something different every night since I've got so much stuff laying around and I like to sew so much. I love the idea of an Esmeralda costume. I made one a few years ago for a performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Yeomen of the Guard. I did a two tone over skirt, an underskirt, a waist cincher with coins dangling from it, and a basic chemise type top. The most fun part was putting a French braid with ribbons in her hair like a headband.
