Penguin Ornaments

These Penguin ornaments were made from my stash of Christmas wrapping paper from last year. I gathered my round and rectangle lids from my plastic food containers and got my recycled cardboard which I keep. I traced circles and rectangles on the cardboard to make templates. I got the wrapping paper and cut a penguin for each circle or rectangle and made sure that they were in the center of the cardboard template. I used a glue stick to smooth out the paper so no bubbles would show.

I added purple glitter on the borders and white glitter glue on the bodies of the penguins and added a satin ribbon where I hole punched at the top....Penguin ornament, round.jpgPenguin ornaments.jpgPenguin ornament.jpg.

Thank you for the complement. I had different ornaments made out of wrapping and and cardboard that I put on Ebay this past Christmas for the sake of it and would you believe the only thing that I sold was the purple penguins ornaments. I only got made $5.00 total, but with other things I listed, no one was interested in other things.
