Post Subject: Art vs. Craft (Milwaukee)
Anyone at Art vs. Craft in Milwaukee this weekend? I stopped by today and it just gets better every time. I grew up doing traditional craft fairs with my mom and I love the fact that this kind of show can get so many quality vendors. I picked up some lovely holiday cards :)

Just checked in on my favorite local craft shop, The Glitter Workshop, and they are advertising another High Noon Saloon craft fair and the Art vs. Craft sale in Milwaukee:

*bump*
Art Vs. Craft is THIS weekend in Milwaukee. I think I'm driving out Friday night - we need an official Getcrafty symbol so we can recognize each other!

So how is your holiday shopping/crafting going?
This year I have less time and slightly more money than last year, I'm buying more things (rather than making them) but I'm also trying to buy a lot of handmade things (from local craft shows, like Art vs. Craft, or online from Etsy).
Or, are you doing more charity donations this year? Less? Any suggestions for folks?

Websters says art is a skill acquired by experience, study, or observation; the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects. And craft is an occupation or trade requiring manual dexterity or artistic skill.
Six? or half dozen?
I've recently wondered about this same subject---and it's reassuring to see others exploring the art vs craft question.
