Post Subject: Wine for New Year's Celebration
Hi Friends,
I am new to this forum and really happy to be part of this. As everyone suggested their favorite link I would also like to add one site through which I often buy wine and it has been really good and prompt service I have recieved.
Grapes Wine Selection Specialists.
Their rates are really competitive and they offer FREE delivery in connecticut. My friend recommended their name and since then I have been buying wine online through them only. Recently I have purchase bunch of good wine collection through them and trust me it was delivered in good condition and were really great.

i agree. buy Australian. but my reasons are purely selfish. let them destroy their environment, and give me back the beauty of my childhood home, unmarred by acre after acre of hideous vineyards. i'm from Sonoma country, and i hate the grape growers. they have horrible human rights records (they treat their immigrant work force like a disposable commodity), they destroy the ecosystem, and they use huge amounts of toxic pesticides. if you have to buy wine, at least do me a favor and buy organic.

Here are some frugal travel tips.
If you are a student or teacher you can get discounts on airfare. You may have to buy an international student / faculty ID, but you get a lot more in discounts than the cost.
If you are not a student or teacher, got to an auction sight for airfare. make sure that you know the cost ahead of time and don't pay more than half of what you would have paid for the best price. In 2004, my sweety and I made it to England for $200 + tax each.
Go to places off season if you can. There are less crowds and it is usually less expensive, though, sometimes you may find things closed.
I buy travelers checks from AAA. They won't charge a fee and give a fair exchange rate. Keep at least one on you throughout the trip in case of an emergency. American Express will alow you to use their offices as a mail box if you are a customer - a card holder or travelers chech holder.
If traveling alone go to hostels. It is very inexpensive and you can make friends that could lead to other travel. If traveling with a friend it may be less expensive to go to a pennsione or B&B. Being friendly has made traveling less expensive sometimes because people have offered to let me stay with them elsewhere and I've had tea or lunch with others.
I've never tried it but I've heard of house exchanges where you will offer your home to others from an agency in exchange for the use of their place.
In Europe it may be less expensive to buy wine instead of soda pop.
I know I've come up with more tips but I can't remember anymore at this time.
