Starting up a Church Of Craft keeps me on the look out for very cool crafty publications to serve as "jumping off point" for those Nervous Newbie Crafters. "Family Fun" and "Martha Stewart for Kids" magazines have loads of quick, fun, non-threatening wackadoo ideas.
"Piecework" is amazing! The projects are well written, slightly out of bounds, and usually have an accompaning story. Scholarly bent. Ever embroider a globe?
Altered art is another accessible portal. Jsut keep adding until you like it!
This week, I'm taking the "Post Secret" book and providing supplies for everyone to make their own Post Secret and mail at leisure. Card stock. Stamps. Colorful Sharpies. Collage. Etc. Brown Bag to carry it to post office.
