Post Subject: Adhesive for foam sheets?
I've never worked with craft foam before.
I'm making party decorations for my daughter's 3rd birthday party and I'm making a replica of a tin can phone and I thought that craft foam would be inepxensive and she could play with the phone later. I have the bottoms cut out and the edges ready to go but I'm not sure what the best adhesive is for this since the foam is so porous.
I need to adhere (1) the bottoms to the sides and (2) the seam of the side.
Should I forget glue and try staples or clear packing tape (on the inside)? I'd prefer not to use staples since she'll probably use it as a toy after the party.
BTW: The theme is "The Wonderpets" from Nick Jr. in case anyone was curious why I'm making a tin can phone. I'm also making a Flyboat, for those who are familiar w/ the show ;)
