Post Subject: sewing machine problems
I own a Singer Futura 900 model. It hasn't been used in about six months. I got it out to sew and began having problems immediately.
It will sew fine for a few stitches then on the bottom of the fabric a big clump of stitches and thread will gather. The machine bogs down and won't go further. I've tried adjusting the top tension and rewinding the bobbin. Nothing works.
Any suggestions on what might be causing this?
I'm a beginner but can adjust and clean the machine fairly well. Any help is appreciated!
