I usually like to buy cards from art museum gift shops to support the museum--MOMA usually has some very cool ones, as does the Met.
I would LIKE to buy cards from http://www.fredflare.com , but can't justify the expense....but please somebody else do it so I may live vicariously through you! I don't think they have xmas cards up yet, but last year they had really cute dachshund cards. Check them out a little later in the season.

Ha! I totally was thinking this was going to be a thread about having issues with pet photos! Probably because I recently had such an issue.
Mr. Xuli this year wanted to get professional photos of our family -- me, him, and the cat. We wanted some of those ultra-cheesy ones everyone has in their photo albums from the 80s -- those ones where your mom dressed up you and your sister in matching outfits and took you to Sears for. Only none of those places (Sears, Olan Mills, etc.) allow pets inside. We found a lot of wedding photographer types, but they all charge an arm and a leg. We wanted to do this for Xmas cards this year, but obviously missed the boat on that.
Anyone know a good, affordable place to get cheesy pet-friendly family photos?

Ahhh, yes. We have the Smith Family Sweat Shop in full gear. I'm making small quilted Xmas wall hangings for my MIL and my Step-MIL. And probably different not so Xmassy ones for my sister, and my BIL...since they both bought new houses this year. (Not together).
For my Mommy, she's begging for some finger-painting by my daughter, who is now 14 mos old. We had her first one framed, and Mom loved it. So, that's what she'll be getting. Hubby illustrates our Xmas cards.
That leaves all the Men in my life...My Daddy, my brother, my FIL, my Step-FIL.
