i was never a dog lover, i got bit by one when i was little was scared forever until my sister got a little beagle and it warmed my chilly heart. then we got a chihuahua and then another. now i'm dog crazy!

i'm posting a picture! post one of your pet too! goldfish, bird, a cat...

This was my baby, Chet. He died in December at the age of 20.

This is one of my rats, actually one of my daughter's rats. They are actually really sweet pets. I was surprised how much I've warmed up to them![/img]

I loved my rats. Tickly little beasties, smart and inquisitive. I had Russian Blues and a Siamese. Opal, Sapphire and Amber Rat. RIP

Did you have a favorite paw on Chet? He looks so sweet. I tease one of my kitty girls who is getting pretty old that I like this one foot so much. The coloring is perfectly odd. Smooth dark fur with long golden guard hairs laid over it. Seeing Chet's buff booties made me look closer as if I could tease him with one favorite foot.

I got Chet from a shelter when he was already a couple years old, and about to be euthanized. He had already been neutered and declawed. On his right front paw he grew back one of his claws! Suitably, it was the Middle Claw.

I don't have any pets of my own, but I'm really close with other people's pets, specifically their cats.

My boyfriend's cat Farfel

My old homestay's cat Willy (I love this cat so much!)

My sister's Golden Lab puppy, Buck (this was taken in December, and he's 3 times this size now!)

Here's my baby, Aslan (after I cleaned out my bookshelves ... you know, not to actually put books on them but to give him space to explore).

Hey brdgt, I knew your cat's name was Calvin but I didn't know his fully name was Calvin Johnson. That is so freaking cute!

ETA: Um, for some reason I must've shrunk the picture awhile ago. I guess I tried to make it an avatar at some point and forgot? Anyway, sorry it's so small.
