so if you have seen the photo i posted of the craft space that i really liked in the thread on ikea organizers, you've seen that the desk had a sweet skirt on it. it's a little too grandmotherly for my tastes, but i think i'm going to take the stack of pillowcases that i never made into skirts, open them up, sew in a casing and then use that as a skirt! i'm just not sure how to hang it up. i think i can get wire from the hardware store and use suction cups or something to attach it to my desk. anyone else have ideas? |

| okay, so i assume you want a non-permanent idea. so stapling the sucker to the desk and then covering with decorative trim or brads would be out of the question. |

| thanks for the ideas - i'm tempted to just staple it and call it done. i do think i want something non permanent and moveable, so maybe velcro is the way to go... |

| Or elastic in the casing or just in corner 'pockets' if you still want it to be removable. |
