so if you have seen the photo i posted of the craft space that i really liked in the thread on ikea organizers, you've seen that the desk had a sweet skirt on it. it's a little too grandmotherly for my tastes, but i think i'm going to take the stack of pillowcases that i never made into skirts, open them up, sew in a casing and then use that as a skirt! i'm just not sure how to hang it up. i think i can get wire from the hardware store and use suction cups or something to attach it to my desk. anyone else have ideas?

okay, so i assume you want a non-permanent idea. so stapling the sucker to the desk and then covering with decorative trim or brads would be out of the question.

thanks for the ideas - i'm tempted to just staple it and call it done. i do think i want something non permanent and moveable, so maybe velcro is the way to go...

Or elastic in the casing or just in corner 'pockets' if you still want it to be removable.
