I remember a while ago on get crafty folks posted pictures and descriptions of the spaces they do their crafts in and some of them really kicked butt.
I have a small corner in our tiny extra bedroom that I've stuffed a bunch of supplies in but it just doesn't have good "shui" yet.
Does anyone have pictures of descriptions of the space they craft in that they just love? How is it decorated? What's on the walls? How do you store your supplies?
Please share, thanks! |

| I just thought "hey, I should post a picture of the craft area!" and then I thought... "um, but then I'd have to clean it first...." so sorry ladies! my priorities are skewed! |

| there is a really messy photo of my studio on the "about" page of my site... i'm lucky enough to live in a loft/warehouse space (which i'v been waiting like 10 years to find) so i have tons of room to spread out when need be- this can also lead to my projects taking over my entire "house", oh wait, they always have.... |

I have a beautiful, huge craft/office room complete with hardwood floor, ceiling fan and French doors out onto the balcony. And it is a total, utter mess. A shambles. I can't find a damn thing when I need it, and even if I know right where something is, it's too much effort to push the other junk aside to get it out.
I sit here at my computer facing the wall because I can't bear to look at the rest of the room, much less actually use the space to create anything. I have several unfinished projects that I can't bring myself to work on, because doing so would mean confronting the space to work on them.
Help. |

I would share my craft space...but I don't think it would inspire anyone...it is a red hot mess right now! We are making some renovations in the house so unfortunately my craft space is doubling as a storage area.
@sistasmell...I am loving how your house is truly a "House of Craft"...thanks for sharing! Those yarns look so yummy too! _________________ Hold fast to dreams

here's one view of my "cubby," actually a closet off the living room (and one of only 2 closets in the entire apartment...my wife is SO indulgent of me & my crafty needs!)
here's the link to the rest of
the pics!
