Hello!

I have a zine called GiftWrapGoddessWraps. It is all about gift wrapping. Its just started this June. Each issue will have projects for a begining or an advanced gift wrapper. Tips and suggestions on how to wrap beautifully for every season in each issue. There is an Ask The Goddess column where you can send in your own questions about gift wrapping.

Articles and projects are welcome - if you would like to submit something.

Be a Goddess and join us today! :) Abigail

i think you are on to something! gift wrapping in an under appreciated art form. my sister-in-law makes the most fabulous gift packages, sometimes they are more fun than the gift. i'm going to check out your site. do you have pictures and things? ok, i'll go see!!

can you post pictures of some cool projects you've done, i'm dying to see!!

Decide in advance what criteria you will use to select the winner. Doesn't have to be cast in stone, just so you feel confident in narrowing down the field in some way.

I think your prize sounds wonderful... so are you going to present it in a plastic grocery sack? <g>

Hello Crafty Chica & Lizzy!

CC - thank you, I'm glad you think the gift wrap zine is a good idea. It sounds like your sister is a great gift wrapper and its always nice to get a gift from someone where the giftwrapping is just as much fun as the gift itself. I don't have photos up yet - I'm in graduate school and have been juggling end of the term. But I want to do some projects and take some photos. I'd love to do a zine that could have photos but I'm still learning about html and designing websites - my skill level is very basic. :)

Lizzy - thank you for the advice on the contest. I think your ideas make a lot of sense for planning this contest. I appreciate it!

:) Abigail

Wow, what greatness! I wasn't able to look at your yahoo group right now, but I wanted to tell you I absolutely appreciate the art of giftwrap and would really dig a zine devoted to it (I worked in the giftwrap department of a big department store in college and LOVED all the fun ways to do it up--I've kept up with updating the wrapping ideas for my own gifts ever since!).

Though I'm really short on time these days, I'd be interested in contributing at some point, if you'll have me.

Best of luck! Yea!
