1-2 weeks off at Christmas for company shut down. Last year it was paid!
Free lunch/party on employee birthdays
Fancy company Christmas party. Last year's was at a Mardi Gras restaurant
Flexible schedule to deal with family things when they come up
Wedding planning parties with my boss and coworker
Lots of job freedom to get things done
401k and health insurance. I know these are pretty standard, but these 2 things save me alot of money each month |

Good perks...I want a gourmet chef making my lunches. I seem to always either eat pb&j or a bagel.
My current job has nice perks like great health insurance, free dental. After four years here I now get four weeks of vacation time.
The best perk I get is because I work at a college, and after classes end in June, my boss goes off to Italy to teach and the rest of the students and faculty vacate, and all that is left is little ol' me all alone and free to wander these boards and read about everybody's awesome perks.

My last job was pretty much one big perk. I spent about 75% of my time crafting, doing homework, or reading a book. Occasional free lunch, free snack if we needed change. I could pretty much do whatever I wanted and I got free merchandise. Why did I leave? Oh, yeah, the owner was becoming an a$$ and the customers were evil.
Other jobs
-occasional free lunch when things got busy
-half priced meals
-misc. discounts
-I got a free KB Toys hat once |

Current job: trip to the Cook Islands for my Xmas bonus.
Past job: House Manager for a 20's era live event/movie theatre so tons of swag from that job, videos, tshirts, CDs, posters and got to meet some great artists. _________________ Every year, back comes spring, with nasty little birds yapping their fool heads off and the ground all mucked up with plants - Dorothy Parker |

I worked for Lush until a couple of months ago, and although it wasn't exactly the most fascinating or well paid of jobs, I did get 50% off all Lush stuff, plus vast amounts of broken bath bombs and bubble bars, pieces of soap that were too small to sell, fresh face masks that were past their sell by date and 'faulty' shampoos, shower gels etc that were a bit runny or missing an ingredient. I still have tons of the stuff that I'm working through slowly until I get a job in Lush in the city I'm moving to.
That was a great perk because I have been addicted to Lush stuff for quite a while, and it normally aint cheap. |

Wow I thought a lot of that perk business was gone. I remember back in the day companies took their employees to baseball games, had big parties and trips etc. That was back in 99 or so though. N
Now I'm just happy to have free coffee and benefits that I don't have to pay into.
Free cheese and wine? Ha! We're lucky if we get pizza now when we are too busy to take lunch!
But I'm not bitter ;) _________________ Zuzzzzzz |

My current job has very few perks, the one good thing that does come to mind is getting the week off between Christmas and New Year's, paid. The work is interesting though... so I guess that's a perk. :)

Ummm, not too many perks:
--I don't have to come in till 10 or 11am
--I can wear pretty much whatever I want
--There's always leftovers and candy to eat (not such a perk for my butt, however...) _________________ full effort is full victory. --mahatma gandhi |

*My health insurance is free for me, $2.50/week for my daughter, and $15.00/week for my husband (not bad).
*I can wear anything I want other than open-toed shoes (damn OSHA!).
*My boss often orders pizza or Olive Garden for our lunch.
....and that's about it. |

| The only perk I can think of is getting 11 weeks of holidays a year (teacher). But then I spend at least half of those holidays getting ready for school, and get paid not a lot, so maybe that's not such a perk. |

I get to another undergrad degree or a grad degree for free. I bill all business related time like running errands for the boss or picking up things for the "team" on the way to the office. And all all those meetings, I order the lunch so i can decide what we have and i can bill the time for lunch also. Thats about it, and I pretty much run things in my dept. _________________ The only Bush I trust is my own. |

Wow - I love that my 2-day temp job inspired this thread. But remember, I was let go from that for being completely unqualified!
Perks of my current job:
- 30% discount on all beverages, food & merchandise bought at any location
- Free beverages during my work shift, even 4-shot soy lattes
- Free pound of coffee beans every week (no one can drink that much coffee by themselves, so this means gifts for happy relatives!)
- Sometimes my day doesn't start until mid-afternoon (but other days it starts at 4am :P )
- 401K & health insurance offered to part-time employees
- Free craft supplies (pretty used cards that people throw away)
As cool a work environment as it is, I still wouldn't mind being back in an office, working full-time hours and getting paid a living wage again someday. |
