wahoo..some of my artwork has been published in a new women's humorous literature magazine with all female contributors. it's called swivel and is based in seattle (and is really, really funny).

That's so awesome! I definitely want to read this magazine, but it costs SO MUCH MONEY (for me, future-college-student). Do you think they'll put any parts of the past issues up on the site? So that readers can get an idea of what to expect when they order it?

The concept sounds great, though, and it's awesome you got your work in there!

aw thanks ladies!

i hope they do put some bits of the magazine's content up on the website. i know it's expensive for those on a tight budget but it's so new, maybe as the magazine builds a following it will get a little cheaper. it's also the kind of magazine i would keep as a book...the format is smallish and thick (does that sound dirty?) so it fits on my bookshelf along with my David Sedaris and Sarah Vowel books.

mostly, i think it's a really good place to submit work for any writer/illustrator craftistas here!
