I couldn't agree more with the wash your face and apply cream I am in my upper 40's and people are always guess-ta-mating my age as a lot younger. I don't wear a lot of make up and I wash and cream every night and cream every morning!

I would add to washing your face. Laugh a lot and be happy in what you do as when your lines of wisdom do start to appear laugh lines are much more attractive then frown lines.

Invest! Invest! Invest! if you don't have a 401 K option do an IRA. Get an HSA for your health insurance or buy some real estate. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO MAKE MONEY. You just have to be consistant

agree with the 401k. if not, something - anything. a CD, an ING account (takes a while to transfer money so less likely to spend, plus good interest rates), savings bonds, etc.

i wish someone had told me that it's ok to be by yourself. i lived on a farm for 6 months (twice!!) and realized i liked hanging out with myself. i also realized how important friends are.

speaking of, keeping in touch with old friends is important - they're the ones who know you best.

baby wipes get makeup and deodorant off clothes. i saw a girl at a new & used shop do this on some pieces that were just brought in and that little bit saved me from having to rethink an entire outfit because i got deodorant all over it putting it on.

....just make sure you like the smell. ((personally i like the target brand toddler wipe smell best!))

I will be the first to tell you to avoid debt, but I will also be the first to tell you to follow your heart and believe in Shakespeare''s advice \"To thine ownself be true.\" Sounds like you want to travel, so you should travel- it gets tougher to do once you have a permanent job or a spouse and all the accoutrements that seem to pile up as you get older. SO...have you thought about trying to get jobs in other countries so you ca explore but also not incur more debt? I think Kelly Temporary Services has branches all over, and there are probably other possibilities as well. HAPPY TRAILS!
