Lunapads SELLS them, but there's not much info on them, other than a testimonial here or there. I'd suggest Googling it. In fact, I think I'm going to go do that now.
Edited to add:

The advantage to silicone is that it's non-reactive. Latex causes a nasty allergic reaction in many people (including me). I've had my DivaCup for over a year and love it - I can't imagine going back to anything else. Its being less expensive than the Keeper is just an added benefit. |

I know this seems odd, but I participated in a cloth pad swap on old glitter, and I never used the pads I received, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to swap for them?
I think there are 5 pads with liners? One of the women also made a nifty zippered pouch that is can hold used pads.
I hope none of the original makers are bugged that I'm offering these up for swap. |

Smudgy_cat, I'd swap if I had anything worthwhile to swap. _________________ When you got a hundred voices singin',

Hey, Soap and Water, regular tampons are so not flushable. They get stuck in pipes and everything backs up. Not a fun thing. You have to pay a professional plumber to come out and show you his butt cleavage while he fishes around for that totally flushable tampon. Just sayin'.
Her: But they flush! They're so convenient. |

Yeah, in highschool, whole floors would have to shut the bathrooms up for awhile to fix the problem. There'd be signs up for girls not to flush them, but they did anyway. It's a great inconvenience to have to go to other floors or often whole buildings just to use the bathroom.
I'm really considering the sea sponges for if I have to do a water class at college this year. I'd only need something for once a week (or more), and they seem really affordable for sometimes use. _________________ When you got a hundred voices singin',

| i use the keeper, along with most of my friends, and i love it. cheap, easy, environmentally healthy, convenient AND it takes me OUT of the corporate structure - what could be better? not participating in the industry that bombards women and men with images of menstration as being something to hide and flush away without anyone suspecting is really priceless. i also love that i never have to think, okay, i'll be gone X hours, that means i need X pads/tampons in my purse, and i have to find a bathroom, etc. |

For those of you who can't afford Lunapads, but want to try cloth pads---
I have heard of/used pads from lesser known, smaller crafters which are just great! (I have also tried Lunapads, and they are pretty good)
A few options include, TLC Pads ( i have not used these, just heard of them)
http://tlc-pads.com/
And I love the fleece pads made by this ebay seller. They are more comfy, leak less and stain less than plain old cotton, and are backedwith waterproof material.
Her stuff is here:

There was an extensive discussion on old Glitter at the beginning of this year about the Kepper, DivaCup, cloth pads, and sea sponges--I've been trying to find it to post the link here, but haven't had any luck yet. I'll keep looking . . .
Anyway, regarding the DivaCup, I was inspired by the aforementioned thread to start using one. It's been about six months now, and I love it! It's everything people have said: SOOO convenient, no leaking, you can wear it forever without worrying, plus the environmental and cost bonuses. And as someone else said, it DOES feel great to have this option outside of the corporate structure. I feel like such a modern gal! |

i guess i'm in the other pad camp... i hate cloth pads. they feel like big wet diapers to me, and all the kinds i've tried shift and bunch worse than disposable pads.i have such insanely sensitive skin that i can't really wear pads, though. this is icky and TMI, but they basically give me diaper rash.
i use organic, unbleacjed pure cotton tampons. they're a little more expensive than others (say, $4 for a box of 20 instead of $3) but i think it's worth it to *not* be putting dioxins in my vagina. |

Hi!! I am spyderink, this seller on eBay. I just wanted to say a big ol' THANKS for the compliment!! I have been making and selling on eBay for about two years now and (knock on wood!) everyone seems to be happy with their purchase. Anyway, I can't tell you how much I am loving this site-- I am a crafter of many, many different things!! Sewing, crochet (and yes I have made bikinis with that tiny, tiny thread) knitting, cooking, basket-making, caning chairs, and wicker repair!! Whew! Come from a long line of crafters too..... Anyway, holler if you have any questions!! Thanks for the site! : )) |

Welcome to getcrafty!
Yes, I do love your pads--- they are pretty much the only ones I use now that I have a washer/dryer setup at home and can wash frequently! |
