I definitely want to do this again! I ended up going through a break-up/move last Christmas and didn't even get to use the ornaments I got in last year's swap, so I'll have tons of new ornaments this year. |

I noticed that Cyan has posted up on Supernaturale about setting up the SS swap again. Do we want to do a seperate one? Ideas? I know more people here, so the flake out factor may be less, but I do trust Cyan as a swap - runner. _________________ Honcraft - for Baltimore area crafters:

The swap has not started yet. I basically wanted to see if there was interest before plowing ahead. :)
If you are interested in the Ornament Swap, email me at:
amkscuba at yahoo (dot) com
Please label your email w/ Ornament Swap or something so I know it's not porno spam and accidently delete it.
Please include your real name, your screen name and country.
Depending on the people interested, we may break it down into groups so there can be more ornament joy and less ornament sweatshop work.
Please email me by September 18 if you are interested. After that, I'll try to get a group email sent out with my contact info on Sunday.
I'd love to do a Secret Snowflake here, but it doesn't seem like people are too interested? Or is everyone just nervous about the flake potential? |

i've done the ornament swap three times, and really enjoyed it. i'd do it if the groups were smaller than 6 people.
and i'm kind of bored with the big SS swap. i've had a lot of fun with it, but ultimately i find it to be too much work. |

I'm in for the ornament swap, I'll email you now. I realize it depends on how many people sign up, but I'd definitely prefer to break up into groups (I think we were in groups of 8 or so last year?) rather than have to make a billion ornaments (although it would be awesome to get so many in return)--but it's up to you, of course, and I'll happily go along either way.
As for the snowflake swap, I decided to split it up between the two sites, so I'm doing the ornament swap here, and the snowflake swap with Glitter.
FYI, just in case any one's interested who doesn't spend much (or any) time over at Glitter, they're gearing up for another scarf drive this year. |

| What if you said you wanted to do it on the thread, but didn't email you? Are you still in or do you have to email? I've missed the deadline for the email. |
